I’m originally from Liverpool and I have a Degree in Graphic Design from Leeds Met University and a Masters Degree in Film and Media Production from Sheffield Hallam University. I’m well versed in many areas of media production, but my passion lies with Camera and Editing..
I originally come from an art background, even before I studied I’d make comic strips as a child to pass the time. I grew up watching science fiction films in the 80’s (who didn’t? it was a golden age) I think the film that is still an inspiration to me is Ridley Scott’s ‘Blade Runner’. I keep coming back to it again and again, it works on so many levels; the visuals, the mood and tone, the blending of genres; plus it’s the first film that I saw multiple versions of, which planted seeds in my mind about the power of editing!
